I am so mad at myself!!  I forgot to take before pictures of both of the pieces I am sharing with you today – how frustrating!  These tables were both very dark brown and rather drab…..but I was pleasantly surprised with how they turned out!  In their original state, they were not something I would typically migrate to, however, after being painted I just LOVE them.

Although they are two different tables, they have the same square details on the door and drawer fronts…..as you can see below…

Although they are different, I think they would look nice in the same room….what do you think?  I picture them in a shabby-chic space…that is done in whites with some pops of colour….do you agree?…or am I way out there on that?!  I am by no means a professional decorator!!

I painted both of the tables using DIY chalk-like paint in white, that I have talk about in several of my previous posts.  I then distressed them in areas, and finished them off with a clear wax to give them a nice smooth finish.

I loved the original hardware on both pieces, so I did not change them out….here is a close of up the hardware on the round table…B W Drum 3

I sooo wish I had before pictures so you could see the difference the white paint has made…it gives them an entire new look!…oh well.

I will be posting these tables up for sale in my shop shortly.

Have a wonderful day!!
