I hope all of you had a great weekend!  It was so nice to have the sun shining!

This is the third table that I have refinished….although with this one I did not spray it as I did with the other two.  When this table was given to me the top had already been sanded down to the raw wood, and since someone already went through all the effort to do that, I decided I would stain the top (as opposed to painting it) and just paint the base.  I used Annie Sloan chalk paint on the base, and a Minwax stain on the top….and the really nice things was that with all this wonderful weather we have been having I was able to paint it outside!

Once again I do not have a before picture for you (I know, I have been sooo forgetful lately!!…I just get so excited to start painting new projects that I forget!)….but here are a few after photos…

No chairs came with this table, but I had an old set of chairs in my stack of furniture in the garage that I think style wise match great with this table – do you agree?  I tried as best I could to match the stain that  is on the chairs on the table top (I think I got it pretty close!), as I am hoping to sell the table and chairs as a set.

I did some fairly heavy distressing on the legs of the table to keep with the rustic-looking table top.

I will be posting this set up for sale in my on-line shop shortly, but if you have any questions about it please do not hesitate to email me in the mean time.  Oh, and I almost forgot, there is also a leaf that goes with this table, I just did not include it in the photos.

Bye for now!
