Hello!

I have been working on a lot of larger custom projects lately including a dining room table and kitchen tables & chairs for customers –  so sorry, I have not been able to post much up these days to share with you  - I just have no where that I can set them up to photograph…but I apologize that  it has been so quiet around here, hopefully someone is still reading this blog!!  AND my poor little on-line Shop is looking soooo empty….but I guess that is a good thing that pieces are selling….hopefully I can finish a few more pieces to post up in there.  Well, I will be adding this lovely storage cabinet to my Shop as soon as I can, but I just could not wait to share it with you!!….what do you think?!…

B Bath Cabinet 2

This cabinet is made out of pine, and the previous owners used it as a stereo and CD storage cabinet.

Here is the before picture…..

The previous owners had also removed the feet from the cabinet, but lucky for me they kept them and included them with the sale of the unit, as I must say that I like the piece MUCH better with the feet on it.

I took the back panel off the unit and replaced it with new wood, as the old panel had holes drilled in it for cables –  which I did not want as I thought this cabinet would be great to use in kitchen as perhaps a jam/spice cupboard, or in a bathroom for storage of all sorts of things from towels, bathing supplies, products, to makeup, etc.

There are four shelves in the side with the glass, which can be moved around height wise as necessary (I have only shown it with three of the four shelves in the photo below), and there are five pull out drawers in the other side of the cabinet.

For this cabinet I tried yet another new paint product, Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, and must say that I was very please with the coverage that the paint provided.  And I absolutely love this colour, Duck Egg Blue, and definitely will be using it again!

Have any of you tried Annie Sloan products?  Did they work well for you?  I would love to see some pictures if you have!

Bye for now!
